All About Pocket Knives

Picked up an 8ot red bone #0368 with correct papers and box. What might it be worth? Knife is very nice unused. Mike. P.S. what year was it made? New to forum hope post is correct her are some pics

Need to see picture of knife open and with a clear close-up pic of the tang stamp.

It could be as early as '73... that's about the extent of my knowledge

The blue foam in the box says 70's, nice knife!

I'm with you Billy, after 1973 with that stamping.
I have been looking for a Mint Red bone like that for many years, pre 1970 in a wooden box.
I hope I never fine one, I know I will have to pay big $$$s.

1985 to be exact, it was part of a three stockman set (the knives above) that was housed in a faux alligator skin hinged jewelry case. It was an SFO for someone but I don't recall the organization.

It was "Big C Sales" who had the knives done, I knew I'd remember eventually! . There were 2400 of each knife made. You don't see them all that often, but they do turn up every now and then. You have to remember to differentiate between them and the Heritage series knives (tang stamped to that effect), which came out a number of years later.
