All About Pocket Knives

Hi,

I bougth this knife in a flea market and for a reasonable price, but im concerned that its fake or real.

I`m starting with the queen collection so I dont know alot of these knives.

Does the 92 marked on the bottom of the blade means that it was made in 1992?. how can i find out if its fake or real.

Do you know the estimate value?.

Queen knives are well made! I just got a Queen Utility in Amber Stag Bone and its a great knife!

Unfortunately your knife isn't going to be your retirement. It's probably in the range of $40-$55. Or whatever somebody is willing to pay. Unless it was a limited run or something special it could be worth a bit more. Your's appear to have a Winterbottom derlin scales. A very good utility/user knife - put it in your ECD rotation & use it.

A great Delrin EDC!

If you're interested in collecting Queen's - you got a lot to chose from. One of the unusual things about Queen, they made several models/frames (I know of at least two) using a poured alum one piece frame. These have 'hidden' back springs & are very light. I also really like the Winterbottom bone handles. Now yours are made of derlin but I'm almost positive they also made that jack with actual bone handles (not in 1992 though). You can display them together. Here's a picture of some of my Queen Barlows with both Winterbottom Bone & Derlin handles (bone on the right - derlin of the left). The knife at the upper left is also a poured frame. The middle row of the display are all Queens except for the last six on the right. Oh yes, I kinda like Barlows. Keep hunting...
