I bought this battered buck 110 at a swap for $4. I removed the rear bolsters, fileworked the lock bar, reshaped the blade into a modified clip. This is what it looked like before.

now here is what it looks like

The pictures don't do the knife justice, I'm going to take some better ones tommorow when I have better light, there isn't nothing like natural sunlight to take good pictures, the lamps just don't "cut it" for me.

Now that is fantastic work MM, the transition is remarkable... ::tu::  It doesn't even look like the same knife, it is light years ahead of the original...

Sunburst you are right. ::tu:: Maybe I should tear up a Buck knife and send it to MM for a redo

Great Work MM. I like the wood. Tell us about taking off those bolsters ::shrug::

Thanks for the comments fellas. Since the liners and bolsters are one machined piece. It'd help ALOT to have a mill it could really help you avoid alot of mistakes!

::tu:: ::tu:: Excellent! That Buck looks really good without the rear bolsters and the wood looks great. Another fine job.

I don't know, it looked sooo good before.

This keeps bringing up more questions that are better left for the R&R section. May I use one of your pictures to illustrate my question?

Good work MM.
