Just had to snap this one up.
Don't collect these, but fell in love with this bloke.
Etch on blade S X M mark side.
Pile side is 041811
Any comment welcome.

Thanks Gino, Has really nice colour and snaps like a croc.
Like I said in OP I don't know jack about these, but I sure like them.
Might have to branch out, not buy so many Schrade's.

Good looking knife Gary. I don't have any of the first year reproductions, but I have four from the second series including the 041811 and they all have great walk and talk. The thick blades with pronounced swedge really appeal to me.

But seriously great looking "Dixie switch" from the 1st annual reproduction series in 1991 as Bill said.
I too like the looks of the saber ground blade on this pattern, but I have found that the blade geometry is not that good for some kinds of cutting. It just gets to fat to quick...like me!

Gary any Schrades are still worth the going prices.
Yes Queen knives are kool but you will have to pay more. This means less knives.

In that Series I jigged bone, I have found 3 different color variations. Beautiful Knife!!
