All About Pocket Knives

Does anybody know anything about this tang stamp, picture attached. Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Although that stamp is listed in Goins' book, there is no further information listed there.

Later in that thread they tell about the company if you care to follow it.
Apparently an old company (pre WWII) in Italy, which made good knives.

So, from what I gathered it is from Italy, the M over C stands for Marx and Company (Marx being the founder in the 20's). The only difference is that mine doesn't have TRIANGOLO under the triangle. Maybe this is an earlier knife then the ones that I saw???

Cool little knife!

It appears you have a "shell handled" souvenir knife, Mike.
This type of knife was designed to be produced in a cost effective manner,
resulting in a lower quality knife (especially when compared to that stiletto).

I don't think there was much of a tourist industry in Europe prior to WWII -
so the knife is likely post '45.
