Hello from up here

Hello from up here in Wisconsin. My name is Glenn and I am new to AAPK. The further I go in collecting, the more I realize I don't know. Some lessons can really hurt the old pocketbook as I have been learning lately.
Here in Wisconsin, knife collecting is a foreign language. When I go to the sales, I always ask "do you have any knives"? and, always, the people look at me like I'm from another planet. I have yet to find the proverbial "diamond in the rough", but I am still looking.
Basically, I have a lot of knives for sale and have learned from my meager experience that my collecting is now, finally, going in the right direction. I have been taken so many times, I cannot count, but I keep a good head about it. The people I have met since my experiences have taught me to be more careful. They have been wonderful, and the quality of the knives I have and the one's I aspire to, are to drool over.
If you are so inclined, and have the time ($,ha) ck out my knife store. I plan to offer quite a few knives, maybe even a few you need or want. Gimme a few days though to list them all, I am still working on the lighting thing. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your friendship, patience and help. I will certainly pass my experience on to any others who may ask me, and we will all benefit from a friendly form of collecting we can all enjoy and learn from.
Finally, thanks for listening to my rambling. Glenn
PS my knife store is I-LIKE-KNIVES :D ::tu:: 8)

Hi Glenn,

I know we've exchanged a few emails, but I would like to formally welcome you to the AAPK discussion boards.
