76 Barlow w/odd stamp

First - sorry for the lousey picture of the stamp. I just received this Queen 1976 Barlow, mainly due to the beatiful stag. However, when looking it over closely, I notice the stamp was a bit odd. Where the standard curly Q with the definet crown over it is, this has something a bit different. This has a clear O with a connecting line & the crown is something like a box-like upside down V. I couldn't see anyone going to the trouble of faking a 1976 Queen barlow (this has the poured alum frame). I would admit the potential of it being re-handled, simply due to the fact I've NEVER seen this type of Queen Barlow with this type of stag. Any thoughts ???

THANKS - you nailed it.

It's the stamp in the middle of the page. I don't have that stamp on my reference sheet. Thanks for the update. So, do you think Queen did use this type of stag in 76' ?

My book has examples, but not ones of every year. I went back and looked and the earliest I see
the Stag Series in one of the pics is 1981. I do see nice stag on old Queen City knives too so not sure.

That's the only one in a sheeps foot & stag I have. If I find another - I'll will you know. I'm always looking.
