Looking for Opinions on a Western Scout Knife

Hi folks. I'm looking at a Western Boulder Colorado scout utility knife on ebay and I'm just not sure if it's the real deal or not. I simply haven't ever seen one like it. (Of course there's a lot I haven't seen) I'm looking for input from those who may know for sure if this knife is on the up and up. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Can't speak to that knife Phil......but the seller is good imo. Got one or two real nice ones from him.

I have seen and owned several exactly like this one. Some have shields, some not. In fact there are several others on Ebay right now.

I have had several of these over the years that to the best of my recollection looked just like this one . It is a good original knife IMHO . Below is the best pic that I could find (From Sgt's 3rd Edition) . I probably have one somewhere in my "stash" but it may take days to find it .

Thank you gentlemen. I really appreciate your help. It makes me feel much better about bidding on that one. As I said, I just hadn't seen one like it so I was not sure about it.

i picked one up today with a shield{long oblong}...but no punch?
western over USA tang stamp.
dang...this knife does have a punch blade...but someone burned a 12 gauge clip out of the blade...with electric...
how many of these beautiful ruined knives are there?
