I just picked up this Fight'n Rooster boot knife and can't find it in any of the knife books. It is built on the same frame as the 1st generation Bulldog Queen of Hearts frame. I am posting pictures of both for comparison. The knife doesn't have a tang stamp, just the Fight'n Rooster blade etch. Any comments or ideas are welcome. ::tu::
Thanks,
Tom

Here is another identical knife with Kershaw markings; made in Germany. There was a post awhile back about these knives and there was a suggestion that they were made by Anton Wingen.

I have a Puma boot knife that is similar but has different bolsters.

Thats interesting. I had thought that both the bulldog and fight'n rooster fixed blades were made at the Olbertz factory in Solingen, Germany where all of the folders were made at the time the 1st generation bulldogs were made.
