All About Pocket Knives

With the indulgence of everyone, I have a couple of KA-BAR knives that I hope someone can give me more information. The first is a fixed blade, 9 inches in length. The tang stamp has "KA-BAR" in the top line, with "REG US PAT OFF" on the second line. I researched that this would mean the knife was made between 1927 and 1945. But, can anyone help with the model of the knife? I do not know much about KA-Bars, but would this be something of a civilian type hunter since there are no USA, USMC, or USN markings?

The second knife is a stockman pattern, and what I have been able to determine would date from the late 60's to early 70's. The handles are wood, with brass bolsters and liners, pins. The tang stamp says "KA-BAR" on the first line, with "1109 USA" on the second line. I am assuming (and I know what that means! ) that the 1109 is the model number. Any other info anyone can shed will be most welcome.

I don't come around a lot, and to the Kabar Forum even less. I'm bacisally a Camillus guy.
I know nothing about the fixed blade, but the stockman looks like one in a series of wood/brass knives made by Camillus for Kabar in 70s or 80s. They made several patterns: jack knife, barlow, trapper, etc.

Added: now that I look at them side by side, maybe it's not from the Camillus made series. Hell, I dunno

I don't know if this is a rule we can live by or not, but so far all the fixed blade knives I've seen that were made for military issue have had steel pommels. Since yours is aluminum, I'd say it's a safe bet it was made for commercial sale.
