All About Pocket Knives

This is how I spent my afternoon off on MLK day.

It is a Schrade+ 507SC USA made folding hunter. I picked up a few of these that hadn't been scrimshawed. I removed the plastic handles and replaced them with Cocobolo. I replaced the brass center pin with mosaic pin and worked the lock bar and blade.

I think the cocobolo is a better choice than the plastic any day.

very tasty. the wood i much better than the plastic, can you show a pic of the blade work?

that really looks good on the blade.

I like that filework and the use of a mosaic pin, looks good in Cocobolo!

Is it my imagination, or did you use a light box on this, your pictures have improved!

yowza, thats really nice. Very neat, using the mosaic pin and the cocobolo mix, the filework is really good too.
