All About Pocket Knives

December... already... The end of 2011 is drawing near & another Christmas is right around the corner ...

For AAPK's 2011 Christmas drawing, our Alaskan friend; Trevor (IMBAND) Church has made a generous donation of not one, but two fantastic knives for one fellow lucky member to win.

The drawing features a little something for the traditionalist as well as the tactical aficionado.

The first is a really cool AG Russell lockback knife with jigged bone handle slabs & extra high quality 154CM steel blade. Look at the super classy shape of that blade!

The second knife is a very handy looking Gerber Evo Jr. tactical knife with partially serrated blade. Never been removed from original clam shell packaging. Imagine it clipped onto your pocket ready for action!

This drawing will be determined on Christmas Evening.

You will have until the end of the day on Christmas Eve December 24 (11:59 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on Christmas Day December 25. The Individual closest to the selected number will win. If there is a tie it will be the closest number without going over. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

Happy to donate the knives to AAPK and very pleased that a regular contributing 'poster' won
this month. (The Gerber is a great little toolbox/work knife, sweet one-handed operation both

i thank bryan for this great site and the opportunity to win a monthly drawing, and also to trevor for that club donation.
i am 59 yrs old and the last thing i won was $10 on a horse race back in '72 or '73. as a matter of fact i think it was secretariat.
