This is a Johnnie Fain knife auction.
Johnnie was a Moderator here on AAPK until his death in March of 2009.
These knives are from Johnnie’s collection; the proceeds go to his widow, Annettee.
This auction is for the following knife:
MAKER: Great Eastern Cutlery
PATTERN: #73 Trapper Sheffield Tobacco
LENGTH (closed): 3-3/4”
BOLSTERS: Nickel silver
SHIELD: Acorn
HANDLES: Jigged bone
BLADES: Clip ? & spey
LINERS: Brass
TANG STAMPS: Master blade- GREAT EASTERN CUTLERY/TITUSVILLE, PA Rear Stamp- CYCLOPS/STEEL WORKS
TANG STAMPS: Spey blade- 2006 Rear Stamp- GREAT EASTERN CUTLERY/TITUSVILLE, PA
BLADE ETCH: Master blade- GREAT EASTERN/TRADE MARK/CUTLERY
BLADE ETCH: Spey blade- MODEL 73/1 OF/250/scout
BOLSTER ETCH: 164
CONDITION: New in box
DAMAGE: none noted
BLADE WEAR: none
SNAP: Very hard with half stops (watch those fingers closely)!
MADE IN: U.S.A.
ADDITIONAL INFO: As I recall this was among the first of the GEC patterns introduced. If you missed these in 2006, now is your chance to get one.

This auction will end at 12 Noon, Pacific Time Saturday November 26th, 2011, if there have been no bids within 1 hours of that time. If there have been bids, the auction will continue until such time as there are no bids for 1 hour. At that time the high bidder will be declared the winner.
Payment will be by money order only. Upon receipt of payment the knife will be shipped.
The payment price will be the winning bid plus $7.50 for Priority Mail & insurance.
If you prefer First Class Mail in a padded envelop without insurance contact me by PM or email. The price for First Class is $4.50.
