First a big Hello, new here, from east Texas, 78 yrs old and loving every moment of life.

No Stamp on tang
although there is a stamping on the barrell:
"Nifty Nife Co., St Louis, Pat APPLD"

Bob to the forum.
Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings shows Nifty Nife as being in business from 1920 to 1940.
Also, interesting AAPK name. There has to be a story there!

Thanks for the imput
As to the Handle "Hookerbob"
Two reasons it has held
1- Used to break and train horses- in the old west a person using spurs (Hooks) was known as a hooker. My first name Bob
2. Used to work a bit in the Motion Picture business, two differant times my cast name was "Hooker", sort of stuck

I see. I never considered that. I guess my mind was in a gutter. I hooked a bull or two in my youth so I should have made the connection.
Do you mind telling us what movies you were in.

Really prefer to leave that info in the past (Not many residual checks from SAG anymore
btw, I once owned the cane Paladin carried in the series, gave it to a good friend of mine a few years ago.
