back in the day the military still cooked it's own meals.....
an yes veterans...i used the term "COOK" real loose.

My old battalion (the 167th MP BN - the DUI is my avatar) kept a Connelly Award winning mess section for years (always a contender), we ate REAL good! Connelly is the award competition within the Army for food service and is open to military mess sections only (no civilian contractors).
