Nice knives guys! These old ring openers are a pretty scarce item.

When I saw this Schrade Cut Co offered here by Red Trout Knives, I knew I had to add it to my collection

Brrokes & Crookes Sheffield silver scaled ring knife stamped for 1909. Tangs are stamped Asprey 166 Bond St. ( they are a high end London retailer that are still in business)

I have several Schrades although no pictures. All is not lost because I also have several Canal Street Cutlery Ring Openers and I do have pictures of these....

Here's my CSC Ring Opener. It seems to have a little different jigging than the ones above.

Yours is called "Amber Jigged Bone". The two above are (I believe) "Amber Stag Bone".

Here are two more that I have....the Ebony I already had and didn't have a picture...here is a poor quality picture. The next is a Canal Street made for A.G Russell...Genuine PAUA Shell handles.....just arrived today!

It kinda looks like everyone has been itching to pull out their ring turners…well I got mine in but no pic yet…Humphreys Radiant Sheffield all metal advertising Goldsmith & Harzberg Providence…I'm guessing it dates to the 20's I can't find much data on the jewelry firm out of rhode Island. It might be older than 20's???

Thanks Kirk ... If I stop admiring it myself I will no doubt let you know ... Funny thing is it sort of landed in my lap at a knife show when a friend who knows what I like for knives told me he has a knife I may just like ...

First time seeing this thread Lee. That's a beautiful little knife. I have never come across any Empire or seen a ring knife in person. If you only have one that is a good one to have. Dimitri really has a nice collection of them
