What are the initials regarding Case Knives?

Just curious since the pattern is one thing. Okay, handle material, number of blades and pattern number but what are the initials sometimes associated with the knives. Memory here but say htlp? Is there a place to reference these?

Steve Pfeiffer's (knifeaholic) book has a section on the initials after the pattern #s on Case knives. Good book

Thanks for that tip. Just looked at Parker's book, number 9 and at the Tested 5347 which has HPLP and HELP next to the number. That was what caused me to wonder...
