All About Pocket Knives

What is your favorite GEC handle material?
I'm sure this poll has been taken before but not for a while.
My tastes have evolved and although I've always liked stag and wasn't very excited about Primitive Bone, PB is now giving stag a run for its money in my book.
I hope I didn't miss any important materials.

Difficult question...................I like knives with shields and Prim Bone is too hard to get.
Natural Stag has been nice so far, but I had to vote for Burnt Stag. If the Natural Stag
stays premium, I might see things different down the road.

(Elk was not listed as a choice when I voted......it is my favorite by far)

I liked the last run of American Elk on the lockback 72s as much as anything I've seen from GEC.

Toasted stag has always been my favorite.

vikingdog is right - American Elk is one of thier very best.

I'am with Vikingdog. The American Elk is outstanding.

I like a few but natural stag is my favorite if I had to choose.

Good poll Stephen. There's so much nice stuff comes out of GEC it's hard to pick one. I like the recent primitive bone as well as the elk. They do a really great job dying and jigging their bone and I voted for that.

When I was there in July Pat Vroman said they can do any jigging pattern. He asked me what I was interested in and I told him old time whiskey colored pick bone.

I used to post here as "Wilder" but decided to change my i.d.
to my real given name. "Wilder" is a nickname.
I believe you tipped me off a while back on a buffalo horn conductor(please correct me if I'm wrong) and we each were able to score a really nice low-run knife.

Wow, I didn't know you were Wilder! Yes, that was me that tipped you on that conductor. Only 8 buffalo horn made with the bail from what I recall. They vanished in a hurry. Buffalo horn is good!

You're welcome Jerry. "Would that be a clever name for a whittler?" Yep. Gepetto was the wood carver who made Pinnochio in the children's story.
