Nice Knives!

Hey Roger, Mind if I use a picture of that shield for the Case Classic's shield page?...

I haven't seen one like that. Proto of some sort?

Thanks!

Bryan,

Go for it my friend! ....This here shield has got to be one of the rarest for the Elephant Toe pattern as I have only seen her on two knives since I have been collecting those patterns, here is a better shot for you Sir! ::nod::

jonet 143...

If it's not too much trouble, could you give me a little information about that S&M Congress pattern you posted. I think it's a beautiful knife...and since I don't currently own an S&M...I'm very interested in making something like your fine example my first one. Thanks a lot.

Hello jabberwocky,

That is a fine knife that Johnnie has there ::drool:: :D That is the Premier series made by Schatt & Morgan. My understanding of the Premier series is that Clarence Risner Cutlery requested a Special Factory Order knife series made by Queen Cutlery. They release one or two of the SFO series per year.

Here are all 8 knives in the Premier Series. They all have a Queen Cut Co. Titusville, Pa & a S&M, New York, tang stamp.

#51-Trapper
#042125-Muskrat
#041802-Large Coke Bottle
#043163-Railsplitter
#044431-Congress
#042171-Large Barlow
#042297-Small English Jack
#043154-Serpentine Whittler

They are really great looking quality knives that feel good in the hand, I've got three so far in this series and would like to get them all. I would recommend looking at Clarence Risner Cutlery first or check out Sooner State Knives.

Good luck,

Sunburst
