Picked up this old railroad marked punch and these carbon steel knives. The knives all seem to be of good quality...
...top to bottom...
1. The old punch is stamped ATSF RY(Atchison, Topeka& Santa Fe Railway)
2.Stamped Hammacker, Schlemmer &Co./ New York
3. Stamped "interedge" (I think) in the wood handle.
4 Un-marked
5. Stamped, "RUSSELL/Green River Works" I've seen this pattern before but don't remember what it is called.
6. Un-marked

Thanks for looking ::nod:: .

Looks like some great treasure. ::tu::

I'd be very interested to know what the Russell (Number 5) was designed to do. It's a very unique blade shape.

Couldn't find anything on the odd looking Russell.
Number 5 may be the prize. Seems like I recall a custom made in that style that is quite valuable. I'll see what I can find and maybe someone else will come along with more info. Dimitri, are you out there? :D :D

EDIT: I intended to use #6 as the possible rare knife.

No 5 could be a leather cutting or scribeing knife?

Nice score! That bottom knife looks a lot like a Dave Murphy knife.
