Gary, check out the thread I just bumped to the front of the line, it is a good one on the books that will help you as a collector.

Right here with ya Gary! I just started too!

I only have 2 books but the one recommended by the fine members here at AAPK was:
Official Price Guide to Collector Knives 15th Edition by C. HOUSTON PRICE and MARK D. ZALESKY

I also onw Blades Guide to Knives and their Values.
