Contract knives. A Challenge!

Schrade made knives for a lot of companies. I just received this Challenge HJ in answer to my ad in Knife World, sight unseen, and ran to my Schrade roll as soon as I got home. Sure enough, there is a very strong resemblance to the Schrade below it. I love it when that happens!!
I'll do some more comparing, but I'll let the pictures speak here.
Happy New Year to ALL!

Cool knives, Who made them? You think schrade made the challenge or the other way around?? Those punch blades look different also, never seen them before(might be a giveaway if we could see those punches on other knives? Thx Mark

After closer examination those punches look exactly like the pile of punches on the other topic PUNCH BLADES--from the walden factory--Interesting

I am pretty sure Schrade made the Challenge HJ for that company.

What is also appealing to me as to that challenge harness jack is there is 2 steel pins and 2 brass pins, according to levine's guide and goin's this could have been an import from sheffield England NOT schrade made??? Any thoughts on this from you---Thx Mark

I noticed the pin difference also Mark. I can't explain it, but I am sure those knives were both made on the same machinery, and likely in the same place.
