Info about Case pocket hunter

Good afternoon,
I'm one of those lucky kids (47 years old) whose Dad bought, and still buys him pocket knives. I have a question about one of them.
It's a Case pocket or mini hunter. The pattern number is 62165. The blade abbreviation is TH SS. Thanks to this excellent website, I'm pretty sure the handle material is jigged bone, it has a clip master blade and the second blade is a skinner blade. From the number of dots and X's (2 dots, 5 x's), I'd say it was made in 2003.
My question is about an etch on the master blade: LIMITED XX EDITION (top line), and 1 OF 3000 (second line). What's the significance of the etching? Also, what does "TH" signify in the blade abbreviation.
I just found this website and have already learned quite a bit. Thanks to everyone sharing what they know about pocket knives.

One more thing I forgot to mention: the shield on the handle is the Case bomb shield.
