new york knife company

hello, what do you fellas think of these 2 old new york knife company butter knives i picked up at a flea market. the look old. but i have no ideal of the age. an the guy i got them from said most people take them and make hunting knives out of them. they look like they have ivory scales on them. and silver inlays. i like them. thanks denny

they look great. nice find. i wouldn't alter them in any way, but years ago people weren't into the collecting field as they are nowadays.

Denny those are great. Use one for the butter and the other for the jelly and leave them just like they are. ::tu::

Some time back I bought (4) Butter type knives of the NYKC in bone. They are not pocket knives but will sit in the same collection. Those guys are Awesome, and to modify them in any way would be a ::tear:: crying shame. Please don't

Denny, those are great knives. I have a few old forks but only one knife. I have one set of knife and fork but they are in Ebony instead of bone. I have an extra 3 tine bone fork if you want it. It doesn't have the silver inlay, and I can't find a makers mark but it would look neat by your knife until you found a match for it. If interested, pm me your address and it's yours.
