Can anyone tell me something about this Schrade as I can find nothing in any of my books? Much appreciated.

Geo. Schrade dates from 1929 to 1956. He was a brother to the other Schrades (Schrade Cut Co and Schrade Walden).
A very inventive individual, he patented the switchblade and seems like it was he who invented a machine which seated the shield into handles of knives. I believe he also patented the player piano, or some aspect of the player piano.
I am guessing your knife is fairly early in the time span as it is Pat Appd For.

Welcome to AAPK!!
This looks very much like the knife about which I posted a query a few months ago. That knife was an Ebay auction item.

We discussed it at length at the time.
It sold well on Ebay.
Did you buy it? If so, congratulations. I think it's a rare and relatively valuable piece.

I know that this is a 14+ year old topic.
But, this pocket knife definitely belongs here.
A little background story about this pocket knife. I purchased a pocket knife on eBay around the middle of November, 2022. It never ended up in my possession. I contacted the seller, he tracked it down and had it returned to him. The seller re-sent the knife to me, I DID finally receive it, AND the seller included this pocket knife as well (FREE!!). It is a GEO SCHRADE, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/8" closed (not including the ring or loop), pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp is the curved or arched style and says, "GEO SCHRADE (over) PAT APD FOR" The main handle side says, "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf" and has graphics of the wolf and the three little pigs. The other handle side also says, "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf" and has graphics of the wolf and the three little pigs. The main blade has a VERY CRISP half stop. The main blade has a NASTY opening snap. The main blade has a NASTY closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I did have to clean up the blade a little bit. I took some pictures and here it is.
