Amazing carved opinels,

I stumbled upon this today, the workmanship is amazing, i was thinking about carving the handle on my #8 opinel but i wouldnt know where to start,

I wonder how easy it would be too carv kermet the frog ? there is a reason and not because of the french conection

I think you'd be well advised to practice your carving techniques for a while on a simple block of wood before launching a project involving actually carving on the knife handle.

i thinkk your right phil, although these are cheap to buy knives i still would not want to bodge one up , i think i need to ask a few carving questions

For more carving material you can now buy in USA from Opiknife store
the ebauche model with larger unfinished handles specifically
for those that wish to carve their own handles.
