::shrug:: I assumed it was the GEC book written by forum member David L. Anthony. There's no knives on page 33, but page 32 shows an ebony handled whittler similar in shape to an enlarged 33 conductor pattern. If the Whaler is modeled after that knife, I think many of us will be pleased. The book mentioned contains photo copies of an original Northfield catalog and I also thought the page 33 reference might be for that. Sadly the catalog only contains 27 pages, if memory serves.

Falah,

That's what I'm thinking..... The fact that the baby sunfish or sleaveboard pattern is #26, The sunfish is#36, and The #46 pattern = Big Fish ::tu:: . Still do not know what the Page 33 means but I may not have the right reference, or the clue is in context with what is written on the page rather than a picture on the page.

This as you all know was the last 2009 Rendezvous Show Knife.

My guess the handle will be a looking glass also.

Perhaps PEARL, well they may want to save the Pearl for a Rendezvous Show Knife? Like 10, 25, 50 75 or 100 years.
