Here is my small collection. They stay close at hand for reference, with some other subjects that get used a lot. I find myself going to the Houston Price and Bernard Levine books the most. I have spent hours on Steve Pfeiffer's book, it is pure eye candy. David Anthony's books are great historical reading for background. And the others each have a few brands listed that aren't anywhere else, so they get used too.

Here's my man cave, library. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got bit by the steel spirit 8 months ago so I only have 3 reference books.

Here are most of mine (minus the few hundred copies of Knife World that I have tucked away).

I collect machinery and metal working books as well as any book that qualifies as useful "lost" technology. I found one the other day that gives information about the use of ropes in machinery drive systems instead of leather belts or chains. I've got books on muscle cars, knot tying, world timbers, plants, sewing, weaving, net making, chemical recipes, sailing, electrical engineering, all kinds of stuff. I didn't bother to take pictures of the SCI-FI book case.

Here are the ones I use most, nice and handy over my desk.
There are more on this bookcase, but they are toward the bottom, behind some of my wife’s stuff. Most of the stuff in this pic is Science Fiction, Philosophy and knives. The magazine holders on top are mostly knife pamphlets and catalogs and a few magazines. Most of my knife magazines are on shelves in the shop.

all the items one can find really help since even the most comprehensive tomes have gaps & lack some info. knives are so complex in models that a large library certainly helps with identification.--HiPower

my library consists of contractor books on carpentry along with bunches of knife books and an occassional playboy...
