I was looking at a German Eye copperhead 2 blade and was wondering the width if the knife. Is it comfortable in the pocket . And if anyone could post a picture of one in the hand that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

IMHO it is as large a knife as you can carry in your front pocket without being uncomfortable . It can do the work of a trapper , although not as large and bulky .

I think Bob hit it right on with his assessment. I have always looked at the Eye Brand copperhead as sort of a mini-folding hunter. The standard copperhead is a 3 3/4 inch knife. There is a model that is not as often seen and it measures 4 3/4 inches. Still less than a folding hunter, but too much for most of us to carry comfortably in slacks. In truth, that larger model may be even more akin to the folding hunter than the smaller model. My ideal length for pocket carry for dress slacks or such is 3 3/8th inches to 3 5/8th inches. If I am messing around in the outdoors hiking or hunting, I would go with something larger. I have never measured the thickness of the copperhead pattern nor any of the patterns.

I measured one with bone handles that I have for sale in my store. It is 1/2 inch thick.

And 15/16" wide at the widest point x 3-3/4" long as Ray said .
