Red Remingtons

This is my newest compulsion. A few years ago a friend gave me a pristine red handled Remington hunting knife. I kept it in the safe. Recently I see some on ebay and had to have them.(some of you were probably bidding against me!)

I have original sheaths for two of them, but they are not in good condition. The etch on one is readable, but a lot of patina on it.

One of the last purchases had just a little TOO much patina, So I took it to a knife maker who is a friend(SR Johnson) Check out his web site. He put a polish on it like Remington could never have done. I will post a photo when I get home..
