All About Pocket Knives

I love Bucks 300 series, I didn't own any until a few months ago, but now that I do, I love them. These knives really connect with me, and they just have a look and feel that I love.
I'm really looking forward to putting them through the paces this hunting season, theres just something about having a Buck knife in the pocket while out in the woods.

I'd love to see your Buck 300, or hear your 300 story.

I Love them mate, im still carrying the camillus made buck 303 cadet in my pocket, there so solid and i do like the size of the cadet but will bet one of his bigger bros soon, my backpack carry is the 112 ranger love that too, great knives these,

I've allways admire old Smittys 303 well afta he gut his deer apta camp he gave his 1974 Cadet to me this will replace the case in EDC rotation

Like my love for Winchester rifles and shotguns, my love of Buck knives goes back to when I was a kid; don't know what made those brands stick in my mind so early as "the best" because no one was teaching me about brands unless I absorbed it from Outdoor Life or Field and Stream. I've owned this Buck 301 longer than any other; my Grandma Baker gave it to me for my 15th birthday in 1970, she worked at a jewelry store and had my initials engraved in the bolster.

Buck 321, bird knife, my Dad gave me a few years ago. He quit hunting and gave me some of his shotguns and gear, this knife was part of his bird hunting gear. Unsure of exactly how old it is, but we guess he bought it in the early 1980's.

The 301 seems to be very popular. My son gave this 301 to me. He worked in a junkyard and found it in a car that came in. Like new except for the exposure to the elements.

The 055 was a Christmas gift from one of my buddies a couple of years ago. I broke the tip off the blade this past summer and reprofiled it but I'm not satisfied. I contacted Buck and was told they will replace the blade for $10. I think I'm going to do that.

Jerry, from what I can see in your picture that Buck 301 your son gave you looks as good as either of mine. I carried my 301 for years, until I got to the point I was afraid I would loose it. My Grandma has been dead over 22 years and I don't have many other "things" that connect her to me tangibly like this knife does (just a tie clip that I wear to church). I will carry the knife around with me at home and in the yard, but that is as far as it strays from the house anymore. I have been thinking about getting a Buck 303 as an EDC because I now prefer a smaller size knife anyway.
