I won this Camillus lockback on eBay just after the factory closing. I cannot recall seeing another like it and think that maybe these were introduced near the end of production. The scales are rosewood and there is a nickel silver oval inlay on one side. I got it in new condition but without any box. The second photo shows it along with a Camillus Craftsman medium lockback for size comparison.

Spectrum, here is a "Remington" that I have that looks a lot like yours.(tell me it's not chinese)
I actually like the knife, except for the slabs. I'd prefer cork to what's on there.(tell me it's camillus)
It's stamped R-17. ........The cartridges are 32 auto........

I like the mix of old school rosewood scales and tactical blade, really neat looking !
Hmm, going to have to start looking for one of them.........

Thanks for the responses, gentlemen. FRJ: I am not an expert but I am very certain that Camillus made your Remington cartridge knife. I haven't seen one with a blade like that before but Camillus made many styles of knives under the Remington name.

I have one like that except the oval shield on mine is pewter and has a standing image of George Washington. Very sorry but I don't have a pic of it. Please guys don't start yellin' at me. My wife's outta town with our camera.
