This probably one of my most favorite Buck fixed blades.........I really like this knife & sheath!!

Nice one Johnnie!
I remember when they came out in the 80s.
They were really flashy with the wooden handles compared to the old black handles.

Yeah.. they remind me of the old Olsen skinners.

....I think that is why I like it so much.

Hey Johnnie,
This one will be mine when Dad decides he doesn't need it anymore. I bought it for him for Christmas when they first came out, but I'll be damned if I can remember what year it was. Actually the one I bought got sent back and Buck replaced it at no charge. The edge shattered out on it when I chopped a deer's leg bone in two.
I've worked up several W TX muley's with it over the years.
HELL of a knife they are.

As I recall they came out in the mid-1980s.
I want to say 1986, but I am not positive.

Could be Dale.
I was driving hard and fast back in the 80's and usually either had a snoot full of road dope or a belly full of whiskey.
The 80's are kind of blurry in my mind.

I keep telling myself it was fun.....
It was damn sure a WILD ride from what I can recall and from what other folks tell me.
