How do you all display your knives? I am building up a collection and w/ the knives just sitting in a drawer, I just don't get much of a chance to look at them. Are there any display cases available or do you make your own?

Mine are all safe queens. I keep them locked up in the gun safe. Several years ago, my house was broken into and even though I no longer live there, I don't feel comfortable leaving the knives out where someone could walk off with them. I don't think that trust and comfort level will ever return.
Before anyone asks; Yes, its a good idea but no, I'm not going to get a dog. I have enough trouble taking care of myself without being responsible for an animal.

some of us make our own, some people may use a curio cabinet.
personaly i use a glass front bookshelf, a cedar chest, a case factory display cabinet and i'm in the process of making my own curio. I do have a couple of shadow boxes that i will use for my fixed blades and hang them on the wall....
Hope this helps

Most of mine stay in the safe. I only display my office knives.
I have bought several display cases for the office knives from dmdisplays on eBay. You might want to check 'em out. I have always been happy with their mailing time and with the product. They have several different sizes and types.

I have several display cases filled with knives that I keep stored in my safe. I also have several knife rolls and knife storage brief cases filled with knives stashed in that safe. When I want to show some of my knives I can easily retrieve the ones I want without having to drag everything out, yet I still enjoy the security of knowing I've done what I can to prevent theft.......oh yeah, I GOT THE BIG BAD DOG TOO!
