All About Pocket Knives

does anyone have any info on this knife? other than there were 350 made, and the fact that it looks like a very difficult pattern to build, i know nothing about them.

these were made as the 10th "premier" edition for clarence risner.
they took forever to get made, and they are apparently fraught with problems.
of all the examples i've seen, none were put together particularly well.
i've only spoken with a couple of owners, and neither was very happy.

it's a real shame, too, since this was one of the most anticipated s&m's to come along in a while.

Don't know what kind of intel you want carrmillus. This knife has been released for almost a year now. It was a very difficult knife to build & there have been some problems with it, mostly the main blade lockup from what I've been told. It is a wedge whittler & they had to cut the wedge short to make room for the blade release. It was originally made by Remington years ago. It has a weird shape & feel to it but it has kinda grown on me over time. It has all the other characteristics of a Premier knife, Golden root bone handles, nickel-silver liners/bolsters/pins. New York tang stamp. The example I have is great no problems, it can be viewed on the "Premier' thread.

just got mine in the mail. i love it!. i can't find anything wrong with it. someone told me all the knives in the premier series were runs of 400, however , this one is 350. i can see now why they may have had to scrap 50, this has to be a booger to build. the secondary blades don't have a lot of snap, but i'm guessing this is a product of the short backsprings? the primary blade locks like a snapping turtle, but i may have to start lifting weights to unlock it. this could well become my favorite non-camillus knife!!
