It is an eye catcher, isn't it? Three models are being made; The user types with either black micarta or burlwood, with black and burgundy sheaths respectively, and this one, which comes in a wood box.

I got an excellent price on it, so I went with this 'ribbon cutting' issue, a supposed scaled down version of the knife used in the Buck ribbon cutting ceremonies of 1966 and 2005. Stacked masonite handle, which actually looks like a pretty good material to use for that purpose.

As usual, when I screw up and buy a special limited edition with no sheath--- I get the urge to take it out and hack something down with it. I'll try and resist. But I do like the looks of this.

That looks like one Grate knife.
In fact you can hand down that one to your Grate Grand Kids.
He looks like he still will be in MINT shape then too.
I would call that a HE knife not a She. ::nod:: ::nod::

As far as wating to cut some thing when its in your hand. Tells me its well balanced too.

It is cool. It is Gr8. And it still begs to be used. So many of us do this, don't we? Buy something so expensive and 'special' that we can't bear to use it. Kinda a shame... I got this for cheaper than the plain old black micarta handled ones are going for. But damn, I didn't even get a sheath for this and how I can go and out and scratch up CJ and Chuck's way cool autographs?

GR8;
Congratulations, what a fantastic knife. Some could probably refer to it
as a camp knife. If so they would surely be getting ready to butcher their
Elephant for some nice chops. As you said GR8 knife.
