Has anyone else noticed the great looking customized knives going by on the scroll thingy at the top? Orvet (Dale) has been a busy little fella!
Love that amber bone you've been putting on them knives Dale!

Great snag!
I just sent an email hoping to get the barlow on his store! Keeping my fingers crossed as that one really pushed my buttons when I seen it!

LOL guys.
Thanks for your complements.
These are some I had left over from the OKCA show 2 weeks ago.
I took a bunch of them with me.
I really like the way bone comes to life when I start working it.
It is starting to become my favorite handle material, though I am still fond of stag.
I guess I should put some of these pics in my gallery.
The 175 that trail bought is a beauty! I am really fond of that Amber Bone Stag.
It finishes out with lots of subtle colors and textures.
Thanks again for your nice words.
I hope you all enjoy the knives you get from me.

OK, the Schrade came in the mail today, so here are some pictures. I'm very fond of the blade shape, it's like the rope knives that I usually carry. Also, it is the first Schrade Walden in my collection. But the custom handles are what really make it. Just take a look and tell me if this isn't some of the nicest bone, and best craftsmanship around. Most of my knives are inexpensive, many times heavily worn knives that catch my fancy, but this one goes in the small group of my AAPK club knives, the Case I won at the Tank auction, and my Muskrat Man customized knives that are true collectibles. With a daughter and a god-daughter to help through college, I can't afford to buy this kind of knife often, so when I do it is a real treat. I hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks, Dale for letting this one go.
