Well I've just ordered my 4th GEC. As winner of the February AAPK drawing, I chose the GEC NF Toothpick in Burnt Stag. With the aquisition of my fourth GEC all I can say is "Look out Monk, I comin' after ya"!! And, maybe in another life-time, I'll catch ya. In all seriousness, thanks a lot Bryan.

Really a K-nice K-nife Gino. Really liking the stag. When I started on this forum I thought that bone was the only way to go, but boy how time changes everything. Still like bone, but every piece of stag you see is different and beautiful in it's own way. And besides that, you don't have to learn the different jigging patterns. ::ds::

TJ, beautiful knife, great Stag and I love the swedges. 8)
I think the #12s are perfect slim knives ready for work, and I can't wait to hear how you like yours. Are you Gonna EDC it?
I don't EDC one in 1095 yet, but I will someday soon. ::tu::

Gino, another #48 beauty. ::tu::

Hey Johnny - I doubt that I will carry it. I'm just so used to having that little Camillus rehandled boy scout and the case 31SAB in my pocket that I would feel lost without them. I seldom ever carry a K-new K-nife. I know that the GEC will have some heft to it which I really like. It's good to know when you really have something in your hand.

Thanks for all the nice comments folks. Bryan listed that one in his store just for me. You need to take a look at the GEC's he has listed in his WoodsOutdoors store. There are some really nice ones and it was tough to make a choice. See here?

The postman dropped off the knife this morning. It is wonderful, all pretty and shiny and really nice stag. Feels really good in the hand also. What you may not be able to see in the pics are the pinched/dimpled bolsters, really sets it off. A grand piece. According to the Great Eastern website, the production total for this knife was 17 pieces. Thanks so much Bryan.

Thanks Paul. Another piece of information from the GEC website is that they refer to it as "second cut burnt jig stag". Still likin' the knife a lot. ::nod::

I'm glad you have the control to save it from the pocket, but I'm sure that would make a great carry piece. 8)
