German Dress Bayonet

Got this at a pawn shop locally...The insignia has wobble to it so I'm sure it's pinned and not glued..Any more info on it would be appreciated. Not really my cup of tea but it was interesting. The back of the handle has some meltage as does the frog that I hear is common with these things being stored in attics and such. No tang mark and red felt in the part that I guess would connect to a rifle.

need close up of tang stamp..numbers of blade..ect.
it appears to be a model 1939 german dress bayonete..
someone applied the birdie after the fact...i think.

Thanks Gringo...As I mentioned above ther is no tang stamp on the blade. The insignia has been debated by others I have shown it to. There is really no definitive way to tell if it's after the fact or not. The fact that it's pinned and not glued on at least shows it's not a shoddy job....LOL

A little more info....this is the short version of the dress bayonet. The scabbard is 9" long and the blade is a little under 9".
