that would be the pattern that queen tried to copy last year iread down further and noticed seller talking about another seller ,i wonder which one is the scam the one for 9,999 or 7,999

This is, at least, the second time the knife has been posted on Ebay with the $9999.00 starting bid. He got no bids last time.

Nobody in their right mind would pay 10 grand for that knife, then again there are a lot of people buying knives on feebay that are not in their right mind

I had heard of a mint example of that knife - it was a salesman's sample - that sold for $10K in the 1990's.

List it with no reserve Today and it will never bring that much money, bad investment.

Did it sell on feebay for that amount or a private sale??

I second that no one in their right mind(whatever that is)would pay 10 grand for any knife but that is just me(the economist).Just for the heck of it I checked to see what else he was selling and lo and behold:that is the ONLY item.That in my mind(right or left;I'm not sure which)raises red flags.
He does have over 600 transactions but I didn't bother to go into those although I would definitely do so if I were considering a try for the knife.
As for the disclaimer;it brings to mind(the left one I think)the old saying,"Methinks he doth protest too loudly". Just my opinion folks.

Just remember, there is one born every minute fellas! If this guy keeps fishin long enough he might just catch one!

Private sale from a local knife dealer (your old nemesis ) to a well known knife dealer. This was long before Flea Bay.

Is the knife real?

Not a Remington collector, although I do own one, but I think the knife is legit. I cannot imagine how one would go about faking a knife like that.

Maybe Tony Bose could do it, but why would he? His knives sell for near that now.

Sometimes we pay too much for a knife and sometimes we just buy them a little early. I suspect the knife will someday attain that value and then some.

If I was well off, financially speaking, and 10K meant nothing in the overall scheme of things, I'd buy it. Where will you ever come across another as nice?
