B.K. Co knife

Hi,
I bought this neath knife on Ebay some weeks agoo, it is very well made, but I never heard about the B.K. Co brand.
Who knows more about this knife manufacturer, possibly also an indication about the age of this knife?

The Goins book lists the name, but nothing else. It is possible it was a retailer that contracted them from one of the German factories?

I do not have the slightest idea; it is a German made knife, I bought it from somebody in the USA, so it very well could be the case, B.K. are the initials of a retailer in the USA.
A BK name is known over here in Europe as a brand of superiour cooking gear, but I do not think, it is the same as B.K. Co.

Paul, I agree with Tom (we do have simular tastes in knives I have been told) great looking knife! ::envy:: Cant beat those oldies. Great looking shield in those handles.

Nice to see a lot of brands which were common when i was a boy, sad most of them dissappeared, I will print those pages!
Although it is a german made knife, the style of building looks like it is an American knife;
Nice handles, well polished blades, but the pivoting parts of blades and springs are left the way they came out of the forgery.
The German knives I have all are somehow finished different in that area by grinding and polishing.
