All About Pocket Knives

Hey everybody,
I have just started knife collecting and I really like german made knives espically German eyes. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a book or website that could give me info in aging these knives and maybe thier values.

The only article on Eye Brands I have ever seen is the one by Joe Dobbs that was published in Knife World in August, 1983. It was re-published in the 1993 Best of Knife World. I do not believe any copies of either of these have been found recently.

Yep, I spoke without doing my research on that. I was on Amazon recently and there are, or were at least 3 of the Best of Knife World, 1993, listed for sale there.

I'm not sure if it is the same article, but the Feb 1990 issue of Knife World has a piece on Carl Schlieper Cutlery by Joe Dobbs. I ordered mine from them, and its very informative.
