german cutlery is outstanding imo, here are a few examples from my collection. 
I really like solingen steel and caried a hen & Rooster for many years but man those are sweet!

WOW! Whats that one in the middle??

Andy, that is one sweet momma boy! I only have a few Henckels stockman and a few whittlers from the 80's & 90's nothing that nice!
