Is anyone familiar with these knives from Japan ?

I just order one off of Amazon.

The Hitachi Blue Steel is supposed to be a premium knife steel, high carbon content. You can check the spyderco.com for more info.

theblindog: Thank you for the video.

I love the knife in your photo.

Rustle47 : I went to the spyderco.com steel chart and this new knife is even better steel (Hitachi-BlueSteel, Sanmai ) than my Cold Steel Lawman (Japanese AUS 8A Stainless).

Cool steel chart, thanks.
