110 Re-Do

I am planning on doing a rework of a Buck 110. Question--how is the best way to take this knife apart--is it best to try to knockout the pivot pin, then use a blade to 'split' the rest of the pins, or just start with the blade and split it apart from the beginning? The reason I ask--are there washers or spacers around the pivot pin that would be destroyed? Newbie question for sure, but just not sure how to proceed with this particular knife as compared to smaller folders. Thanks in advance fo the help.
