Have a KABAR, don't know much about them. Hoping someone could tell me what generation this one is. I think it might be a newer one but unsure. Knife is 11 7/8" overall, w/ a blade of 7". If anymore info is needed just let me know. Thanks!

Looks like a late manufacture reproduction to me. How thick is that pommel? A pinned, as opposed to peened pommel in 3/8" thickness is a giveaway. Also, I believe the letters in the stamping are a different type/style. It seems to have that look of a black coated blade that has been sanded off. It's not uncommon to see people attempting to pass these off as WW2 era knives.
If you get the chance and know someone with a known legit WW2 Kabar, take yours and theirs and hold them side by side and study the differences in every square milimeter of them. Best way to learn is comparison with the items in hand.
I just zoomed in and noticed the stamped sheath, which is definitely reproduction, as there were no WW2 sheaths stamped with EGA and USMC.

I agree with above. Also the false edge on near all valid early KA BAR Knives(Military) extended to or beyond the end of Fuller. Yours may possibly as late as 1986. It is still a nice knife.
