All About Pocket Knives

I'm looking to purchase a survival knife and the blade I'm looking at is offered in either D2 or 1095 steel....which is the more durable, holds the best edge and ease of sharpening?....thanks

Greg, that's a tough question because I think the D2 will hold an edge the longest but the 1095 is an easier steel to sharpen.
