Here is a nickel-silver Buck 112 with dyed Camel Bone scales and fileworked backspring. Turned out really neat to me! Hasn't been many posts lately so I thought I would share this knife.

I love the color and the file work looks good to! I'd say you are ready for any knife anytime.........no doubt about it! Go for it!

Are you asking me? Not real active on the forums so I'm unsure just exactly how to read these messages.... but it sounds like you are asking me if I would like to do a rehandle for you? If so, I'd love to.

That 112 looks great arksknives! I really like the look of the smooth gray camel bone.

Hey Colin. Glad you made it over here to post some stuff.

For anyone who doesn't know, Colin does real nice work. ...exceptional filework... Attached is part of a knife he recently did for me (re-handle, filework, scrimshaw).

I am hoping he will show this knife off here when he gets some pictures taken (hint) cause I've only seen parts and pieces thus far...

I think justold52 was asking if arksknives was in the rehandle business. (I'm guessing that's the case because I assume arksknives did the work on that 112...?)

Don't worry about not being familiar with the posting process Colin. You'll get the hang of it. Just keep at it and start showing off more of your work please

I know I'd like to see more, and I'm sure a lot of others would too...

Cole does some awesome work and isn't happy unless it's perfect. My avatar is a picture of one side of a Bulldog Elephant Toe that he did for me. The other side is a scrimshawed Bull Elephant that is similar to the one that is etched in the blade. I'd use that side as an avatar, but it won't show up very well. He is an artist and though I have many pictures, I really appreciate it more when I hold it in my hands.

Just top notch all around. It is on his website last I looked.

I'm getting a complex! I'm sitting here red faced.... thanks again all for the compliments! I DO have a bunch of photos I could post but am unsure what size to make them? (?) Would someone do a little explaining about standard sizes to upload and how about making them larger (clickable) like you ALL seem to be able to do?? Is that because your original size was larger and Bryans code automatically resizes them???

Now that I see Bryan seems to let this happen I fell free to ask you to do some handle replaceing for me.
I have these with the intension of haveing them rescaling them as a one of a kind knife.
One I want done in Mosaic Abalone Red Heart, and in Paua Select.
One with a super Blue color handle.
One in real nice Red color.
If you think you can do this Please contact me.

I do know of some one that has the Mosaic Abalone Red Heart, and in Paua Select. If he will let go of some for you . Then we both would be VERY HAPPY. I will leave it up to HIM to tell us! If he will PART with some.

You will have to tell him what size you need.

I will send you all 4 knives that I have. If you want them to get the right size scales.

I trust Hukk's fellings that you can be trusted and fair too.

I did do the handles and filework on the Buck 112. I am always interested in doing work for other people but I guess in this case I didn't respond fast enough. That's O.K. though as I am staying busy with some other knives. If anyone wants some work done on a knife, they can contact me at [email protected] . Thanks for the positive comments on the knife!
