All About Pocket Knives

Is this whats called a paper knife? The handle is wood, as best I can make out the name on the tang says DEPOSE. Above it it looks like an M inside a circle. In the handle the circular insert if you look through it you see a lady from what appears the early 1900s. The picture is not pornograpic but was probably racy for the times. Wish I could show you that pic. Any ideas on origin and vintage? thanks all Ken

Hi Ken, interesting knife. Depose is French and is roughly the equivalent of patent. Don't know the makers mark. Hopefully someone else will have some info. s-k
