All About Pocket Knives

If you like your knives serialized, do you keep an eye out for certain lucky numbers?

I have a lot of the GEC, serialized,and have never picked one,by"'Lucky Number""_____I always,picked em', by the way,the stag or bone looked____With GEC,only puttin' numbers on the first 25 now---numbers don't seem to matter,as for looks---the #25 may look better,than # 01_____just my opinion

All of mine are serialized, but I choose the knife, not the number. I'm sure I will buy non-serial in the future, but to this point they have just happened to also have serial numbers.

I think the only 2 numbers that may make a knife more sentamental value is the first and last numbered. (1 and 100 of 100 or 1 and 25 of 25 ect, ect.)

I am sure we all pick ower girls by the way she looks. Some times the added number just makes the bolster look bad. I do not see any knife artest's number there knives.

Right now I only get #02 if they all look the same (since that is the "first" number for GEC that are sold). For stag, primitive bone, elk, etc., I pick the best I can find serialized or non serialized. If I can't find #02 I may look at a proto or unserialized version.

I like odd numbers, with 21 and 7 being my favorites.

Why? I have no clue - just like 'em.

I choose a knife based of the merits of the knife - number is secondary.

I've always like #5.
